Snow Closure Policy

The EWC follows the Edmonds school district snow closure policy. If the schools are closed, the EWC will also be closed and all programs will be cancelled. For your safety, please call us before you come to the center at 425.774.5555 to confirm if we are open.

COVID Policy Effective March 12th

In response to Governor Inslee’s announcement that statewide mask orders will be ending for most indoor settings March 12th, masks will be optional at the EWC effective on that date. The Governor’s announcement also states that masks will still be required in health care settings. As a result, masks will be required for providers and recipients of  EWC health & wellness services. Proof of vaccines will no longer be required for program participants.

Masks will be optional while in the EWC

Exceptions

Proof of Vaccine will no longer be required

We appreciate your patience. This has been difficult for all of us who are anxious to get back to normal. With safety of our staff, members, and visitors as our top priority this policy may change based on guidance from the Governor’s office, CDC, or Snohomish Health District in response to the course of COVID infections or new variants.

COVID Vaccines

On January 22nd the Edmonds Senior Center, in partnership with the Snohomish Health District and Anesis Spine & Pain Care, offered a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic. One hundred vaccines were administered by a team of nurses to vulnerable seniors and essential volunteers who are members of the Senior Center.

We do not know if or when we will get additional vaccines. We are working with the Snohomish County Health District on getting designated as a community COVID Vaccine Site. This is an involved process with no guarantees. We recommend you contact your healthcare professional about getting a vaccine. We will contact members and make a public announcement if we offer another clinic.

You can check on availability for drive-thru vaccine sites here https://snohomish-county-coronavirus-response-snoco-gis.hub.arcgis.com/pages/covid-19-vaccine
