Understanding How Rumors and False Information are Spread

Stephen Prochaska, a Graduate Research Assistant of the Center for an Informed Public (CIP), will make a presentation about CIP’s work in understanding how online rumors, misinformation, and disinformation are created and shared, a topic of particular relevance to the current political moment.  CIP’s mission includes promoting an informed society and strengthening democratic discourse.
This event is open to the public—no advance registration required and attendance is free.  However, donations will be gratefully accepted at the door.
