Our programs are rooted in our commitment to intergenerational and multicultural engagement, and are offered across the following areas:

• Social Recreation – Get ready for fun with Mahjong, lectures, trips, events, and more! Don’t miss out on the best all-ages trivia in town or our incredible author talk series.
• Health & Wellness – Stay active and informed with fitness classes, wellness workshops, and support services. Don’t forget to stop by and enjoy a delicious $5 meal, Monday through Friday, in our Community Café.
• The Arts – Explore your creativity through visual arts, music, dance, and cultural expression. Stroll through our rotating art gallery or enjoy the many pieces on display throughout the building.
• SHIBA & Medicaid – SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) is a free, confidential, and impartial counseling resource sponsored by the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. Trained volunteer advisors help Medicare-eligible residents of all ages understand their rights and options, offering up-to-date information on private insurance, Medicare, and affordable prescription drug programs.

Snow Closure Policy

The EWC follows the Edmonds school district snow closure policy. If the schools are closed, the EWC will also be closed and all programs will be cancelled. For your safety, please call us before you come to the center at 425.774.5555 to confirm if we are open.
